Summary

Sow & Reap Chara Private Limited will work with agri residues in the form of cotton stalks, corn cobs that would otherwise be burnt openly on farms. The technology used is gasification where the biomass under controlled conditions will be converted into biochar and syngas. The biochar will be given to the farmers for soil application from whom the biomass feed stock is collected. The syngas produced will be utilised for energy purposes inside a pre-calciner of a cement plant. This closes the circularity loop of the process. The installed capacity of the plant is 50 tons per day of biomass processing.
